Practical things that are hard to piece together from scattered sources: how far the temple is from your city and how long the drive really takes, which station and airport to use, when the big melas fall this year, what else is worth seeing around Khatoo, and what the weather is like month by month.
Where the information comes from
Road distances are calculated from OpenStreetMap road data. Festival dates come from announcements by the temple committee and the Sikar district administration where they exist, and from the Hindu panchang otherwise – the calendar page says which is which. Timings and rules are checked against the official temple website. When sources disagree, we say so instead of picking one silently.
What we do not do
We do not accept donations for the temple, we do not sell darshan passes and we never ask for payment to “book” a visit. If someone does that in the name of this site, it is not us. Donations and any official registration belong on the temple's own website.
Found a mistake?
Rules at the temple change, sometimes overnight before a mela. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
