Hours come from the temple's own site where it publishes them, and otherwise from its verified Google Maps listing. Temples change their timings for festivals and for the seasons without announcing it, so telephone ahead if the trip depends on it.

What this temple is known for
Built from about 40,000 cubic feet of Chaurisa marble, and the trust states that no cement or steel went into the sanctum. An akhand jyoti was carried here on foot from Khatu and from Salasar Balaji, arriving in January 2017; a flame from Trimbakeshwar burns here too. The campus also holds shrines to Salasar Hanuman, Bholenath, Shitala Mata and Shani Maharaj.
When it was built
Ground was broken in April 2009, the foundation stone was laid in May 2011, and the murti was consecrated on Basant Panchami, 1 February 2017. Construction was declared finished in March 2021.
Worth knowing before you go
This is the only temple in this list that publishes its own festival dates and aarti times, but its two pages give different aarti times, so we do not reproduce them. Note there is a second, much smaller Khatu Shyam shrine about six kilometres away on Anjana Farm Road, which some directories wrongly list as this one.
Festivals here
This temple does not publish a calendar of its own. Shyam Baba is honoured on the same days everywhere: Phalgun Mela in spring, the janmotsav on Devuthani Ekadashi, and every Shukla Ekadashi. Crowds in Surat follow those dates.
The original temple
The shrine all of these follow is in Khatu in Sikar district, Rajasthan, where the head of Barbarika is said to have been found.
